Mrs.Mendez is a very sweet, loving and affectionate dog-an absolute LOVE! And did we mention BEAUTIFUL?? She weighs about 25 lbs. and is less than 2 years old. Mrs. Mendez came to Pets Alive Puerto Rico as a victim of abuse. While she was pregnant she was severely burned by a pot of boiling water thrown on her by an adult in the home where she lived. Mrs. Mendez's burns have healed, she bears a scar on her body but NOT on her heart. Her 7 pups have all been adopted into wonderful homes and now it's her turn!
