This poor old guy was found laying along side the road . A good samaritan picked him up and brought him to the shelter . He was thin and weak. He was so skinny it hurt him to walk. Even as he laid in our quarantine room trying to gain some weight back, we could see the life in those eyes. His muzzle is graying with age, but his eyes showed us how much he had left in him. We named him "Balin." Strong. Powerful. After gaining some weight, his body is catching up to the strength of his soul. He is strong, both in name and in heart. All he needs now is a family of his own, one that can appreciate how much life this 12-year- boy still has left in him. A family that would be happy just having him and no other animals.as he does not seem to like them .
