Angelo and his 8 siblings come with an amazing rescue story. Their mother, Mrs. Alvarez lived in Utuado,PR on the mountain road leading to the sanctuary. She eluded rescue up until July 4th. When she gave birth this last time in July, our team at Pets Alive Puerto Rico was more determined than ever to save her. As it turned out, she was willing and eager to be saved. A short trek through the jungle led to an area under an abandoned house where Mrs. Alvarez and her 9 ten day old babies were living. The babies were covered in dirt. Mrs. Alvarez had tried to keep them clean but her attempts left mud caked around their noses, eyes and ears. Momma and all of her babies are now safe, cared for and have been loved for months and are all ready for their forever homes. To fill out an adoption application for Angelo, please click here .
