The thing about Claude is, even if he doesn't care to make your acquaintance he'll greet you with a smile. He's got an engaging, childlike way about him. With those he knows and loves, Claude is a big clown. He is still a powerful and active dog who would make an excellent hiking partner, loyal protector, and fireside companion. He's a perfect mix of old and young, serious and silly. Claude enjoys the company of other dogs.
