This unit has a 24 bit signal path, stereo processes, full MIDI, Digitech's s-disk processor, and silencer noise reduction system. It has a wide range of effects including chorus (mono, dual, 4 phase), flange, phase, pitch transpose (including dual detune, arpeggiator, dual pitch), delay (mono, 2 tap, 4 tap, modulated, ducking), a 1.5 sec sampler, EQ (15 band and parametric), and several different noise gates. However, the crowing jewel of this processor is its reverb (include reverse, gated, etc.). Some of the reverb patches are just unreal--super clean and huge sounding; and all are highly programmable. I've owned a lot of effects processors in my day and this has reverb patches that will hold their own against most other units, including those that cost 5x as much as this one. This processor is very quiet, easy to program, and loaded with useful patches.
