Foxy is a 20 year old Arabian mare with very impressive bloodlines. In her younger years, she had an illustrious riding career, living in a fine stable with her own private groom. Due to a family conflict, Foxy ended up on a truck headed for slaughter. The truck driver could not bring himself to deliver such a fine horse to the slaughterhouse, so instead delivered Foxy to Pets Alive. Since coming to Pets Alive, she has been adopted out twice and through no fault of her own, returned, and so is in the process of learning to trust again. She has impeccable ground manners, is very gentle and will follow you around the paddock. She gets along easily with other horses and has even lived with goats and a pig. Foxy is retired from work so can no longer be ridden, but would be a wonderful, fancy pasturemate in a very special home where she will get the love and attention she so deserves.
